The 2008 Street Fair is coming ......

The 2007 Street Fair was held in July last year. Because this was Bastille Day we thought we would use it as an excuse to have a French theme.We would like to thank all the local groups, organisations and individuals who took part in the event and made it a wonderful day with their Franglicised efforts and ideas filling the street from one end to the other.

The 2008 Fair will be held on Saturday 12th July from 2pm till 4ish and the theme this year is "Green". We will take this both literally, comically and sensibly.

So if you want to do something which is based on an environmental theme - that will be good, or just come along dressed in green!

Whatever you do, your involvement will be much appreciated.

The Fair takes place at Newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire and is an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon for all ages, raising a lot of money for the village, local groups, and the wider community.

We are always on the look out for new ideas and would welcome new members to the committee or help on the day to make this years event a success again. The event raises money for the benefit of local groups, organisations, charities and the community and also supports and promotes local business, arts and crafts. We welcome enquiries from any local individuals, groups or charities who would be interested in running stalls, helping or contributing to the event.
